Bepa Loses Her Shit

Nothing new about that. None of the vitches have been following the Charlton tourney. Personally I hate green clay or as I like to call it “fungus clay”.  Anyway I’m going to post this because is hilarious. Bepa having a break down is always funny. Oh yeah, Sam Stousor won the whole thing for those who care. This one is specially dedicated to Jills. May the “Vitch Curse” continue for many years.

The Return Of The King

I will start saying: Fucking Finally!!! Rafa won a 6 straight Monte Carlo tittle making history (he’s the first man to win the same tourney 6 straights times in the Open era).  Rafa also ended the torturous 11 month tittle drought. If you guys follow me on twitter well you know that I always thought that Rafa would win his first tittle of the year in the clay season. It was  hard to wait this long, just like every RafaKAD must have felt. I always had the hope that he would win before the clay season but it didn’t happen.  I just hope that Rafa can finally gain the confidence he was lacking, his game has always been there. Okay with those thoughts out of the way I will talk about the match. Not much to say Rafa just destroyed Nando 6-0,6-1. I will just quote Nando “I can’t find my game. I don’t know what to do”. There where a couple of awesome points and rallies. I think everyones fave was when Nando won a really long point and fell on his knees and thank the heavens.  Rafa was in destruction mode the whole week and he didn’t give a fuck if some of the players are his friends. The Rafa Nadal bakery was opened for business and was giving bagels and bread sticks left and right.  He was sending a message that he’s still the King of Clay and that he’s healthy (Please Tennis gods keep him healthy).  About Nando well he got trashed by Rafa but lets look at the positives he finally broke the Quarterfinal wall after making like 300 Quarterfinals at the Masters 1000 and never making the semis. This week he beat Berdy, Nando was becoming his bitch boy lets be real. He also beat the #2 player in the World Nole and made his first Masters 1000 final. So is not all bad. Now, how about a pic Spam?

Nando downs Nole, Rafa blasts past Ferru

So, that was some performance by Fernando Verdasco Carmona!

This awesome HSM fave made his first ever Masters Series final by defeating

this awesome HSM fave. Poor Nole had a bad match, he just never really hit his stride. But that does not take away from the fact that Nando played some beautiful tennis, and really hit some amazing shots. So, Fernando Verdasco def. Novak Djokovic 6-2, 6-2. He’ll now face…

Rafa, who breezed passed fellow Armada hottie Ferru, 6-2, 6-3. Rafa was impressive, but not quite at the awesome level he reached in the QFs. Still, it’s so nice to see him back on the clay and kicking ass.

This was overall a good week for Ferru. He played some solid tennis, but just couldn’t deal with Rafa’s maaaad clay court skillz.

So. Rafa vs Nando tomorrow ladies and gentlemen. Buckle up, it’s gonna be some fucking ride.

Mmmonte Carlo brings the epic matches

So, clay court tennis is made of shiny win. And today, one badass Frenchie and one badass Spaniard proved that point for us and our viewing pleasure

in what was by far the match of the day. The tennis was incredible, with both men hitting their best level of tennis. So? JCF’s reward for winning this epic tennis battle? A match with….

Rafa. Nice reward, huh? /sarcasm Anyways, The King of Clay kicked some serious ass yet again today, coming through 0 and 1 again in under an hour. Va-fucking-mos!

Meanwhile…..

HSM fave Nando defeated fellow HSM fave Tomas Berdych to end a run of two straight losses against the Czech. Nando really needed the win, and will now face Montanes for a place in the semis. Vamos, Fer!

So, MAndy got his ass kicked today by PEHK. Dude got seriously owned. Poor old Muzz, he’s having a bad run of results, but the British media need to cut the bloke some slack. Bandwagoners.

Meanwhile, one Rafael Nadal Parera absolutely hammered De Bakker, one and love. Yummy. A breadstick and a bagel from Deli Nadal. Just what we like to see. Rafa only lost 12 points on De Bakker’s serve all match. VAMOS! Nalby also had a big win over Misha, and HSM fave Nole also sailed through to the 3rd Round.

King Of Awesome, Part 3

Sucks that Nole lost so early, but his practice was amazingly entertaining. After they did the actual hitting, they played some American football. Nole didn’t know how to throw it, but the crowd cheered him when he finally did it right. And how badass is Dusan Vemic? He’s the one in the glasses. I love the Serbs. This one’s for Aleksa. He’s going to have a great clay season, I just know it.

Too Cute For Words

Caught this on the last day I was there. Goran and (what I assume is) his little boy. Adorbs! Marin’s brother was playing with the kid too. I wonder if we’ll see him on court in about 15 years.

Ana Meets The RBC

I watched for about 10 minutes and then T-Berd and Robin came in, so I was psyched about that. Loved watching them practice until the damn rain ruined it. Robin sat next to Ana and they talked for a bit. Was fun to see.

Hotness of the Week Chicks Edition; Flavia Pennetta

So, anyone who reads HSM regularly, or follows me on Twitter, will know that I have a total girlcrush on Miss Flavia Pennetta, or Bella Flavia, as I like to call her.

For starters, she has amazing legs

She just embodies typical Italian beauty and grace

Her smile makes my heart all fluttery, and she’s a chick FFS!

She has had sex on a tennis court before, as she admitted in an interview.  I want. With her.

She can “smize” amazingly well. Tyra Banks and her fivehead would approve

She has great fashion sense (love those shoes), but look at that smile! I love it!

She is a BAMF. She once said she’d “have a quickie with Marat Safin.” See? She’s just like us!

Le sigh. She really is bella.

When she was having a hard time personally in 2007, she didn’t let it ruin her. Hells no, she went away, worked on her tennis, and became the first Italian Chick to crack the Top 10. Awesome!

What is there left to say? She’s Italian, beautiful, sexy, cute, has a great sense of humour, would bone Maratski, is bubbly and vivacious, and a damn good tennis player.

I would totally marry Flavs and have her Italian babies. Le sigh.  She’s the only chick I’d ever say that about.

King Of Awesome, Part 2

After his practice Nole played some American football with his team. He couldn’t really throw the ball good at first; he said it was like throwing a ‘dead duck” lol. When he finally did spiral it, he got a big applause from the crowd. Did I mention he’s awesome?

Then they decided to play some kind of curling where everyone had to drop a tennis ball over the net and try to make it roll to the baseline. The guy with the worst roll had to do push-ups.

 

As you can see, Dusan was one of the losers. And Nole was a winner.

This practice was one of my fave parts of my trip and was worth the day’s price of admission alone. Which is why the hobbit Pippin Rochus is on my shitlist. He made me miss more Nole epicness. Not to mention he beat Richie too.

I could sit and watch Nole for hours, if it wasn’t too stalkerish to do so. He’s so great for the sport in every way. I hope he has an awesome clay season and I’ll be cheering for him the whole way. Ajde.

Yay, Another Serb To Be Obsessed With!

He practiced with Nole on Thursday, and it was the first time I’d ever seen him in person. Of course I knew him from the good old live scores, as he has played dubs with Ivo and Nole, but I didn’t recognize him. Thanks Sabrina for giving me the heads up on identifying him.

Honestly, the guy is epicness dipped in awesome sauce. He’s so fucking cool. So yeah, I now have another Serbian player to obsess over. There’s always room for more.

King Of Awesome

BAMF-tastic. I fucking love this man. No wonder Janko thinks he should be future president of Serbia.

He’s #2 in the world tennis-wise, but #1 in the Awesomeness Rankings for the third straight year.

 

He’s smart, he’s hot, he’s thoughtful, and he plays good tennis.

 

I’m really sad he lost this week, but I’m blaming Todd because I can. Don’t listen to him, Nole!

 

After a thoroughly entertaining practice, he stayed to sign every autograph. Because he’s awesome like that.

Marathon Practice

Thanks to my lovely tweeps, I knew that Rafa was practicing at 5:30 today. I didn’t know which court, but I figured it was a 50/50 shot between the two most popular practice courts. I kinda got lucky with guessing right. He and Sam practiced for over 2 hours. Of course I watched the whole entire thing without so much as moving from my spot in the front (it’s just what KADs do). Of course Rafa got swamped afterwards, and of course I went into the court after everyone followed Rafa out and I took another towel. LOL, I just had to.

Here are some pics. He started with an orange shirt, and later changed it to white. For a second I thought he was going to practice shirtless. What a tease. He was looking really good out there today. Rafa ftw in Miami, anyone? I think it’s time for another Masters shield. Vamos!

You know how the rest of the song goes. Gilles and Feli practiced on Wednesday and it was basically my dream. Actually Gilles/Nando is my dream but this is pretty close. Feli always chooses the best people to practice with- the man’s got taste. One of the best parts about this practice is that Lady Gaga was blasting from outside the court the whole time. Everything from “Poker Face” to “Monster” to “Alejandro.” (Yeah, I was cracking up when that last one came on.) Anyway, here are some pics.
